This foundation was founded to provide support and a better life to children in the Netherlands who live below the poverty line. Just like any other child, they have the right to a carefree childhood, with the prospect of a promising future. No child has to feel like an outsider or alone. They see it as their mission, through the help of other well-wishers, to offer the children of the Netherlands this opportunity through the use of this Foundation. In the Netherlands, more than 421,000 children live below the poverty line! That is approximately 1 in 8 children.
